Sake Label Redesign Proposal
Named after the meltwater streams and drifting mist of Toyama’s Kurobe Gorge, this sake comes from Hayashi Sake Brewery, the oldest in Toyama, founded in 1626.
The design simplifies the original visuals while keeping the calligraphic “Kurobe Gorge.” Typography is restructured for clarity, and the gorge motif is reduced to a bold red line that extends across the label. The right side highlights the brewery’s heritage, while the left side presents functional details such as serving suggestions and sake classification.
